A Cabaret Story takes its audience on a fast paced musical and literary journey to chart the rise and fall of
cabaret as a social and political movement. From Rudolph Sallis and the opening of Le Chat Noir in 1881, through to Munich at the start of the first world war. The journey ends in Berlin in
1933, with the coming to power of Hitler and National Socialism.
The production gained an international reputation during its residency of five years at Berlin's Sally Bowles Arts Cafe, with over
70 reviews on Tripadvisor.
